Each day we begin at base camp to engage our campers and get them excited for a day of adventure.
After our morning base camp meeting, we begin the very important work of having fun and exploring through hands on activities. This includes games, arts and crafts, imaginative play, and physical activity. We'll explore the many rich and wonderful worlds of popular books and authors, and begin building our very own unique stories along the way.
We take a mid-day break for a picnic lunch and then we have fun with traditional camp style activities and games (we apologize in advance for the whacky camp songs your kids will be singing on the way home!)
After lunch we regroup for a read-along, and then we get busy finishing out our day with, you guessed it, more hands on activities.
Through out the day campers are developing characters, building expansive and creative worlds, and becoming illustrators and authors.

Who doesn't love some swag?! Each camper gets an official Storybook Explorers Summer Camp swag bag with a tshirt (colors/design may vary). We've included plenty of fun goodies!

Snacks. Snacks. Snacks. Kids can't survive without snacks. Who are we kidding? Neither can we adults. We provide a daily snack that is themed with our day.
Parent Resources
We believe that partnering together makes a big impact on young minds. We provide you with a password protected portal on our website where you will find daily camp updates, printable activities, and resources to help you encourage your student after their camp experience.

Week 1 - Jun 15-18

Storybook Adventures
In this 4-day camp, students will explore favorite storybook worlds through play, creativity, and discovery. Each day blends read-aloud stories with hands-on activities, crafts, games, movement, and outdoor fun—giving campers a joyful, immersive experience where imagination leads the way.
Week 2 - June 22 - 25

Becoming the Storyteller
In this 4-day camp, students will bring stories to life through creativity and imagination. Through books, games, art projects, and guided writing, campers will build confidence as young creators while developing their own original ideas and story elements to share.
